It's been awhile :)

Hey Everyone !! Its been awhile ( o.k a long time ) since I have blogged about anything. I am the busiest bee ever !! Full time job and now literally a part time fitness regimen . I have lose 75 pounds and I am a COMPLETELY different person :) I'm a fitness fanatic with 20 pounds left to get rid of for my goal weight. So life is busy and sadly I have little to no time for jewelry. My Etsy store is still up and I'm introducing new things still so stay tuned :) I will also in the near future be putting up some of my fave fitness things to do and maybe some tips !! XOXO

Just wanted to let everyone know of an awesome Support Japan seller on etsy !! I recently found shop " Shopmiko " , she is selling rubber wrist bands for $ 5.00 + shipping. On one side it says " I Heart JAPAN " and on the other it says " Pray For Japan " in Japanese. All proceeds go to Japan !! Great idea :)

Things I'm Digging !!

Hey guys !! Just wanted to post a quick blog on " Things I'm Digging !! " Hope everyone has a wonderful day !!

1st pic : Super smooth Hello Kitty Lipgloss from Target in the good ol' $ 1 bins. Wish I would have picked up more because its actually really nice :)

2nd pic : My new shower curtain. I decided to redo our guest bathroom as it was leopard and well..I love leopard but my whole place is asian themed so it was not fitting !!

3rd pic : My Foo Dog !! I have had my eye on this beauty for months ...I found him at homegoods..he usually comes on a yucky looking yellowish plastic block but I found this one off the block and they gave me a deal on him !! So I had to scoop him up. Foo Dog's are fundamentally protective, strong, and courageous. :)

4th + 5th pic : My killer looking nails :) These are nail decals I found at Rite Aid of all places . $ 10 for 16 nail sheets. These are so easy to put on and last for about 4-5 days for me. ( The box says a week but if your like me and super active and use your hands for work good luck !! ) comes in a varity of cute designs

My heart is so heavy for Japan in all this turmoil they are going through. I am giving a percentage of all my etsy earning to Doctor's Without Borders. I have also set up a store ( I will post the link ) for every $ 5 Geisha mirror purchased $ 3 of that will go to Doctor's Without Borders as well :) They are also having a drive for dog and cat food, collars, leashes, and pet first aid supplies. For any of you that live in the Orange County Area, Sharkey's Mexican Restaurant is a drop off spot for those supplies now until Sunday at 9pm. Please help if you can !! The picture above if off the pocket mirror I put together for this fundraiser :)

This has nothing to do with jewelry so ..yeah...but I just wanted to reflect how when thinks are meant to be they just happen . You know? It reminds me of Jason Mraz's Quote " God is peaking through the blinds " :) I have been looking for a car for awhile now and now it is becoming a must , as my brother with be 18 yrs old. and I am driving his car and I want to be able to just go where I want without restrictions. I have gone back and forth on this and that and how much I want my payments to be yadda yadda yadda. I have become so much more in tune with myself and God or Jah :) and I ask for his help and to show me the right way, and its just awesome to me when little things happen and you know someone great is watching over you. Hey Hey Hey !!! It was a super busy weekend. Went to my friends wedding on Friday, UFC fights on Saturday and Superbowl on Sunday, Way way way to many parties for a dieting/healthy girl..but I was really good like usual. I am so accustomed to eating right and making the better choice its crazy !!

So my 3g iPhone died during the wedding...Taking pics, what a nightmare and sad :( So I got the 4g on Saturday and above is the first pic I took with it of my plum.
( lol) The camera on this phone is quite amazing !!! Haven't noticed anything else I could not live without on it but there is nothing like having the Tribal Seeds App. at your finger tips on the daily :)

Hope to get more pics of items listed in my etsy shop with this bad boy...I have so much to list ..just not enough hours in the day !! Oh well ..life is GOOD !!

Watch out ...and no I did not have Wheaties for breakfast...heheheh :) Anyways, I want this blog to also be about me so here is my post about POCKY... How can you love Japanese culture and food without liking pocky ? Impossible !! This treat is super yummy and easy to eat pretty much anywhere . The following are some fun facts I found about pocky:

Pocky was first sold in 1966.

Pocky is named after the sound Pocky makes when you bite into it...yum yum !!!

Available in a huge variety of flavors including banana, sweet potato, green tea, mixed berry, blueberry, honey & milk, coffee . ( some of these flavors sound delightful and it would be awesome to have them in the states but some..yuck..I can do without and have :)

Men's pocky is a dark and bittersweet version known as more " mature "

There is a new Pocky flavor released every fall :)

Glico ( pocky company ) try;s out new flavors and types on rual Japanese people, some of these varieties never go into production
